Kagoshima city is located on the southern end of the Japanese mainland.

The most striking feature of the city is Sakurajima, the giant active volcano looming just offshore. On clear days, it’s possible to see the volcano smoking.

These tiny mandarins are produced all over Sakurajima. Very juicy.
