I would have loved to buy more, but there was a limit as to what I could physically carry and how much I could take onto the plane.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Leaf \/ Key<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01825.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Various Leaf and Key related books. On the bottom left is a classy cloth-bound <em>WonderThree <\/em>book.<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01827.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This particular <em>Little Busters <\/em>anthology comes with a set of cards which can be used to play various games.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Haruhi<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01831.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><em>Churuya-san<\/em> books on the top row and various Nagucha doujins on the bottom. <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Nanoha<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01834.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><em>Nanoha StrikerS<\/em> design materials and the  <em>Nanoha\/Nanoha A&#8217;s<\/em> Visual Fan Book. No one seemed to have volume A of the <em>StrikerS <\/em>materials in stock, but I looked all over Akihabara until I found a big pile at Animate. <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01835.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Various Nanoha doujin. <em>StrikerS<\/em> seems to have been a hit, despite the reduction in loli power. <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01836.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Some adult-orientated Nanoha books. The one on the left is great in a crazy UNO kind of way. <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01838.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">A pack of Touhou hanafuda cards. <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Other<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01819.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Various artbooks and doujinshi. I&#8217;m a fan of all three artists in the top row, but I bought the bottom ones on a whim. <\/p>\n<p  class=\"style17\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01856.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"> Doujinshi from miko virtuoso Nagomi. I bought all the ones I could find. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01823.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"> Books by Harada Takehito (of <em>Disgaea<\/em> fame). I loved his Kipple 1-4 compilation last year, so these were must-gets. <\/p>\n<p  class=\"style17\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01824.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"> GOTO-P&#8217;s new club activities-based artbook. It&#8217;s kind of like an appendix to his <em>School Girl <\/em>series.<\/p>\n<p  class=\"style17\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01833.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"> Utsura Uraraka&#8217;s Waha compilation book.<\/p>\n<p  class=\"style17\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01839.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"> I was expecting to see more <em>Code Geass <\/em>stuff, but I guess there&#8217;ll be a revival when season 2 airs. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01820.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01821.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01822.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">For those unfamiliar with it, <em>Marin-tan to hanasou! <\/em>is a textbook for learning to speak English like the US Marines do. Not one for the kiddies. It comes with a CD in the back which I&#8217;m afraid to listen to.<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01855.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">A textbook on how to colour school scenery and uniforms. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01858.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01859.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Maid RPG is a tounge-in-cheek tabletop RPG.<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01860.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Artbooks I bought at the Ghibli museum.<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01861.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Tsundere karuta and the <em>Hyakuninisshu <\/em>as read by Tanaka Rie. <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01862.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Tsundere karuta is just like the traditional game of karuta where players aim to match the <em>yomifuda <\/em>(&#8216;reading cards&#8217;) with the <em>torifuda <\/em>(&#8216;taking cards&#8217;) before anyone else. Instead of proverbs or poems from the <em>Hyakuninisshu<\/em>, however, each card features either a tsundere phrase or an associated picture. <\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01869.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">I won these figures at Club Sega after a valiant battle against the UFO catchers. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01872.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01873.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Here they are standing next to my existing Haruhi figures. There&#8217;s a whole series to collect, with your obligatory &#8216;secret&#8217; items. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01792.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Some of the big stores in Akihabara will offer special exclusive postcards with certain manga, with each store having a different postcard. I think this Nagi card was from Tora no Ana, but there were also cards with Maria and Isumi at other stores. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01864.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Coasters from Cure Maid Cafe. The one on the left is the standard one, but the one on the right I received for ordering the Hinagiku cake. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01807.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">A moves sheet from the location test of <em>Fate Unlimited Codes<\/em>. You could pick these up from near the machine and study them while waiting in line. Everyone seemed to like using Sakura. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01813.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Fliers for various doujin events are available at practically every store in Akihabara. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01814.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01815.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">These fliers are for <em>Reitaisai<\/em>, a big Touhou event where ZUN usually releases new material. As you can see from the pictures, it&#8217;s being held at Tokyo Big Sight this year. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01816.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Niche events which revolve around certain franchises, attributes and even particular characters are increasingly common.
