These tunnels were dug during the war to serve as a shelter for military command.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img src=\"\/2010\/OA1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>\n<img src=\"\/2010\/DSC04761.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>\nThe path just outside the bunker.<\/p>\n<p><h2>Ueda<\/h2>\n<p>\n<img src=\"\/2010\/DSC04950.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>\nUeda is a fairly major locality located south of Nagano city.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img src=\"\/2010\/DSC04902.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>\nUeda city is the setting for <I>Summer Wars<\/I>. The notebooks contain messages and illustrations from visitors.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img src=\"\/2010\/DSC04915.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>\nNot a real <I>yorozuya<\/I> like in <I>Gintama<\/I>, unfortuantely. It&#8217;s just a restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>\n<img src=\"\/2010\/DSC04887.JPG\"><\/p>\n<p>\nUeda castle.
