We stopped by to see its new refurbished harbour district, <em>Minato Mirai 21<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01425.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span class=\"style16\">The posts in the street here have the compass directions on them. As someone who has gotten lost countless times in Japan, I can&#8217;t tell you just how welcome this is. <\/span><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01429.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Not <strong>the <\/strong>Leaf building, unfortunately.<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01432.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This is the Landmark Tower. It&#8217;s the tallest building in Japan with a height of 295.8 metres. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01436.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">There&#8217;s a shopping centre inside which is pretty swish. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01438.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01440.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01443.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01444.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Moe Garden doesn&#8217;t sell moe goods per se, but it does have some nice Ghibli goods.<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01446.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01447.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01448.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01449.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01451.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01452.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">There&#8217;s also a Pokemon centre in this building. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01454.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This giant ferris wheel is just about the only Yokohama landmark that I recognise (thanks to <em>Zettai Shounen<\/em>). I think it may be part of a theme park. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01453.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This dizzying sculpture occupies the space between the Landmark Tower and Queen&#8217;s Square. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01426.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">These three buildings make up Queen&#8217;s Square. There&#8217;s a shopping arcade on the lower floors that passes through all three of them.<\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01463.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01465.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The Snoopy Town inside Queen&#8217;s Square. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01468.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">This shell-shaped building is some sort of hotel. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01476.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">You can get a great view of the harbour from a platform near the hotel. <\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01480.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01483.JPG\" width=\"404\" height=\"539\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01484.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01485.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p ><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"DSC01486.JPG\" width=\"539\" height=\"404\"><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Yokohama has one of the largest Chinatowns in the world.
